Whisper
To mute the annoying honking sound, Whisper is internal communication within vehicles and personal devices for addressing one of the most critical issues in cities, sound pollution.
Topic
Address sound pollution caused by vehicles while honking but still keep drivers and pedestrians alarmed when they need to.
Scenario 1
Our team came up with an idea with an alarming system within cars and personal electronic devices. Once any emergency, such as an approaching ambulance or car accident nearby, Whisper will indicate what the emergency is and where it is.
Scenario 2
Another scenario for Whisper is to commute with other drivers, like passing a road, and even send a warning message to pedestrians who ignore their surroundings but focus on the phone.
My role | Prototyper + Visual
I was in charge of making the prototype to convey our concept and demo to the judges. Another job was to design the slides and poster using simple icons to make our concept easily understood.
Achievement
Our team won the best team award over 50 teams in the Beyond Future Mobility Workshop held by MIT in Taiwan.
